O treinamento com pesos era visto antes como uma atividade f\u00edsica predominantemente masculina, devido \u00e0 sua rela\u00e7\u00e3o com o ganho de m\u00fasculos, mas, atualmente, a muscula\u00e7\u00e3o passou a ser uma grande aliada das mulheres na busca por um corpo mais atl\u00e9tico e harmonioso.<\/p>\n<p>A ind\u00fastria <em>fitness<\/em> juntamente com a m\u00eddia t\u00eam contribu\u00eddo para essa popularidade crescente do treinamento com pesos para as mulheres. Al\u00e9m de promover benef\u00edcios est\u00e9ticos e para a sa\u00fade feminina, a muscula\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 considerada uma pr\u00e1tica segura, com baixos riscos de les\u00f5es quando comparada
